Don't know its official name. This was the one chord in the nsong that ngave me fits. This was as close as I could get to the sound. I found that nplaying nthe [G] chord that follows is easier if you play the root 6 [G] chord. n n#2 Roscoe does a little bit of a [C] chord "turnaround" when transitioning nfrom the [C] nchord to the G. Two ways you could play this, one using a hammer on, the nother na slide. (I have to admit that I like the slide better. But, hey, they're nprobably nboth used!) n n Root [C] Chord Players: For those who like the fancy stuff: n|--0-0---------3------------x-x---------3---------------------------------| n|--1-1---------0------------5-5---------3---------------------------------| n|--0-0-----0---0------------5-5---------4---------------------------------| n|--2-2-0h2---0-0------------5-5-----5p0-5---------------------------------| n|--3-3---------2------------3-3-5/7-----5---------------------------------| n|--------------3------------x-x---------3---------------------------------| n n n n#3 Here's the way I like to play this quick [Em] to a [D] stuff: n|--7--7----7--5-----------------------------------------------------------| n|--8--7h8--8--7-----------------------------------------------------------| n|--9--7h9--9--7-----------------------------------------------------------| n|--9--7h9--9--7-----------------------------------------------------------| n|--7-------7--5-----------------------------------------------------------| n|-------------------------------------------------------------------------| n n n#4 This is one of those neat little "colorings" that can make things nsound so nice. It's a [D] chord. Then a [D] with an open 1st string. Hammer non to the second fret and add the G... finally finish with a D. n n|--2-0h2-3-3-2------------------------------------------------------------| n|--3-3---3-3-3------------------------------------------------------------| n|--2-2---2-2-2------------------------------------------------------------| n|-------------------------------------------------------------------------| n|-------------------------------------------------------------------------| n|-------------------------------------------------------------------------| n n n============================================================== nTranscribed by Ron Masters - GuitarRon@aol.com on Oct 6, 1996 nhttp://users.aol.com/guitarron n n n n n
